DJKN Records National Auction Value Until October 2023 Reaches IDR 33.1 Trillion
The Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) of the Ministry of Finance recorded an auction transaction value of IDR 33.1 trillion until October 2023 or had exceeded the government's target in 2023 of IDR 33 trillion.
Director General of State Assets Rionald Silaban said that the principal value of the auction contributed to non-tax state revenue (PNBP) worth Rp682 billion.
"According to online data monitoring system, the achievement of the national auction until October 2023 is IDR 682 billion for PNBP Bea Auction. And for the principal of the auction has reached IDR 33.1 trillion," Rio said at the Bandha Reksa Award, Wednesday, November 22.
Rionald said that in addition to state property (BMN), auctions are also important in the national economy and can increase the role and function of national development.
Meanwhile, increasing the potential for auction income of the Directorate General of State Assets (DJKN) will improve its services and it is currently reengineering the Indonesian auction portal or auction.go.id.
Rionald said that the digital platform is part of digital transformation to realize an easy, objective and safe auction used by all people.
According to Rionald, the improvement and improvement of auction services is the result of hard work and collaboration from all parties, namely DJKN together with all auction stakeholders such as auction applicants, auction organizers, and class II auction officials.
"The Ministry of Finance as the manager of goods is committed to continuing to transform towards a complete asset manager, serving well," he said.

In addition, Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indarwati said the auction was one of the instruments to drive the economy and could restore state finances.
Sri Mulyani added that the auction was also one of the instruments in banking non-performing lending (NPL) settlements.
"The involvement of the private sector in the auction is very important because the auction should not be dominated by the government, therefore we also increase the role of credible private sector and create a fair mechanism," he concluded.
