Ahead Of Nataru 2023, The Ministry Of PUPR Prepares Alternative Roads To Puncak Bogor
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) itself has prepared an alternative route to Puncak Bogor, to welcome the momentum of Christmas and New Year (Nataru) 2024.
The goal is because the Puncak Bogor area is a favorite tourist destination for most people.
The road repairs in the area are carried out through the regional road inpres program or IJD 2023.
"We are increasing access to Puncak Bogor in West Java (West Java), namely the Menker Gunung Batu section, which is on the border of Cianjur Regency. So, to Puncak now there is an alternative road, which we have widened and repaired through the IJD," said Minister Basuki Hadimuljono during a working meeting with Commission V DPR RI in Jakarta, Tuesday, November 21.
Basuki said that the IJD was focused on supporting road access to toll roads, such as access to the Toll Road in Lampung.
Then, it also supports tourism access such as in North Sumatra, namely on the Haranggaol-Sp Salbe section.
"Then, support the connectivity of the Cisumdawu toll exit in West Java, namely the Paseh-Conggeang section," he said.

Just so you know, the Ministry of PUPR noted that the total non-toll national roads that have functioned 47,603 km with a level of availability or readiness reached 92.2 percent.
In detail, there are 13,417 km in Sumatra, 7,090 km in Java and Bali, 8,036 km in Kalimantan, 8,794 km in Sulawesi, 3,092 km in Nusa Tenggara, and 7,172 km in Maluku-Papua.
"Nusa Tenggara has the highest safety, 95 percent. The readiness or readiness of non-tol roads is also supported by the Regional Road Inpres (IJD) program," he said.
