Huawei And Seres Showcase Aito M9 Electric Car At Guangzhou Auto Show 2023
JAKARTA - The collaboration between technology giant Huawei and Seres, the Chinese electric car manufacturer under the auspices of the Sikon Group, took their flagship car Aito M9 at the Guangzhou Auto Show 2023.
The car offers an attractive combination of advanced technology, high performance, and competitive prices.
Reporting from Carnewschina, Tuesday, November 21, this SUV will be available in pre-sales with a price range of 70,000-84,000 US dollars, or around Rp. 1 billion.
Those who make orders in the pre-sale period of various benefits will be given, including a discount of 10,000 yuan at the final price of the vehicle with a deposit or sign of 5,000 yuan. In addition, there are priority deliveries, up to the opportunity to visit the factory where the electric SUV is produced.
Aito M9, as a full-sized SUV, has a length dimension of 5,230 mm, a width of 1,999 mm, and a height of 1,800 mm, with a wheel axis distance of 3,110 mm. This car is equipped with tires measuring 265/40 R22 and 285/40 R22.
The results of this collaboration resulted in two Aito M9 variants, namely the Battery Electrical Vehicle (BEV) variant with two e-motors capable of producing a total power of 530 dk. The front electric motor provides 160 kW of power, while the rear motor provides 230 kW of power. With the ternary battery with a capacity of 97.682 kWh from CATL, this electric SUV can cover a distance of 630 km with one charge.
On the other hand, the Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) version produces 496 dk of power and is equipped with an internal combustion engine of 1.5 liters as a generator. The front motor receives 165 kW of power, while the rear motor receives 112 kW of power. This combination, along with a 40 kWh battery, provides a pure electric range of up to 175 km.
In this partnership, Seres is responsible for manufacturing aspects, while Huawei contributes its expertise in electric motors, chips, sensors, and other important components.
