Accident Of 2 Super Tucano Aircraft Of The Indonesian Air Force, Investigation Team Focuss On Finding Flight Data Recorders

JAKARTA - The investigation team formed by the Indonesian Air Force to investigate the crash of two EMB-314 Super Tucano tactical fighter aircraft is currently focusing on finding a Flight Data Recorder (FDR) or flight data recorder.Head of the Indonesian Air Force Information Service (Kadispenau) First Marshal R. Agung Sasongkojati said the investigation team had now reached the location where the two planes had crashed."Currently, the investigation team has reached the target site and is collecting data related to accidents, securing items that are investigative tools, and securing aircraft Recorder Flight Data," said Agung in Malang City, East Java (East Java), Friday, November 17, as reported by Antara.Agung explained that his party was still unable to confirm whether the FDR of the two aircraft with the tail numbers TT-3111 and TT-3103 had been secured by the Indonesian Air Force Investigation Team. However, with the relatively intact condition of the aircraft carcass, it is likely that FDR was found. In addition to trying to secure the FDR, he said, the investigation team would collect other supporting evidence, such as the distance from the plane's crash with debris at the scene."From the photo sent this morning (the team) has arrived at the place, and if the plane is still intact, I think it is still there (FDR), it is still obtained. However, I cannot clarify whether it has been taken or not," he said.He added, if later the FDR of the two aircraft is found, a special tool will be needed to read flight data recordings. He could not confirm how long it took to read the data footage."Usually to read it requires special equipment. I don't know if we can read it ourselves or have to be sent somewhere," he said.
All the carcasses of two fighter aircraft that crashed in the Pasuruan Regency, East Java, are planned to be collected at Abd Saleh Malang Air Base, East Java. At that location, an investigation will be carried out to determine the cause of the crash. In fact, he continued, parts of the plane would be evacuated by helicopter because it was not possible to be carried by land. The parts of the plane are likely to be cut off so it's not too heavy."But maybe we can use helicopters and it should be cut off so it's not too heavy and not too difficult to lift," he said. Two EMB-314 Super Tucano Air Force tactical fighter aircraft crashed in Pasuruan Regency, East Java, Thursday afternoon at approximately 12.00 WIB.
