Firli Bahuri: 3 Weeks Ago, I SIGNed Harun Masiku's Arrest Order
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri admitted that he had signed a search and arrest warrant for fugitive Harun Masiku (HM). The suspected briber of former General Election Commission (KPU) Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan is still being sought.
"Three weeks ago I signed an arrest and search warrant for HM," Firli said at a press conference at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, November 14.
Firli explained that Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur had even left for neighboring Indonesia to look for Harun. However, this has not yielded results.
"Our HM is still searching. Some time ago Plt. The Deputy for Enforcement conveyed that he had left for a neighboring country but again had not succeeded in making arrests even though the information was strong enough," he said.
Firli confirmed that not only Harun Masiku would continue to be sought. Other fugitives such as the President Director of PT Sandipala Arthaputra, Paulus Tannos and the owner of PT Perusa Sejati, Kirana Kotama continue to be pursued.
