Undergoing The DPR Feasibility Test, General Agus Subiyanto Reveals The Mission Vision Of The TNI Commander

JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Agus Subiyanto, underwent a fit and proper test of the candidate for the Commander of the TNI today at the DPR RI building, Monday, November 13. In a general hearing meeting, General Agus Subiyanto conveyed his vision of mission to Commission I of the DPR RI. "In my view, in order to carry out all the TNI tasks that have been set, I have a PRIMA TNI vision, namely a Professional, Responsive, Integrative, Modern, and Adaptive TNI," said TNI General Agus Subiyanto in the meeting room of Commission I of the DPR, Monday, November 13. The vision, continued General Agus, was in order to build TNI institutions that have the resilience and thermopower to face and overcome all forms of threats, disturbances, obstacles and challenges that would endanger the integrity of the nation and state. In order to realize this vision, General Agus mentioned several steps that will be taken. First, maintain and strengthen professionalism as a means of state defense. "Secondly, improve responsive war capabilities in dealing with strategic environments," he said. Third, strengthening TNI capabilities that are integrative and synergizing with the police, ministries, and other components of the nation. Fourth, realizing acceleration of modernization of defense equipment according to the development of science and technology. "Fifth, realizing an adaptive TNI against the demands of tasks and spectrum of threats," said General Agus.

It is known that the fit and proper test will be held behind closed doors if there is a discussion and deepening that is confidential from the state. The plan is that this feasibility test will be completed and decided at 14.00 WIB. Furthermore, factual verification will be carried out to the residence of Jendela Agus Subiyanto at 17.00 WIB by the leadership of Commission I of the DPR.
