2,600 Police And 255 Stewards Secure The U-17 Pildun Venue In Bandung, West Java Police Make Sure There Are No Eye Gas
A total of 2,855 West Java Regional Police personnel were deployed to secure the U-17 World Cup, one of which was using Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung.
"The number of personnel consisting of 2,600 people is a member of the National Police and 255 people are stewards to carry out direct security at the location of the match," said Deputy Chief of the West Java Regional Police (Wakapolda) Brigadier General Pol. Bariza explained that hundreds of these stewards were ready to be deployed as security inside the stadium and it was certain that there was no use of tear gas in accordance with FIFA provisions.
"This distance has also been trained from last week and hopefully the implementation can run well," he said.
He said the police held a security force readiness with the code " Aman Bacuya Operation (Badak Cula Cahaya) 2023" aimed at seeing the readiness of West Java Regional Police personnel as well as infrastructure in supporting the implementation of tasks.
"So it is hoped that the U-17 World Cup match in West Java, especially at the Jalak Harupat Stadium, can run according to the expectations of the people of Indonesia or the world, especially FIFA," he said.

He explained that all personnel in securing Operation Safe Bacuya 2023 will be placed upon arrival at the airport, accommodation for the participating teams, security of training places, matches to securing trips to the hotel to the stadium.
"Everything has been done by security, either directly placing personnel or by monitoring using the infrastructure we have," he said.
He also hopes that all spectators can maintain their stance while watching the U-17 World Cup, especially this is an international event that is expected to run successfully in the eyes of the world.
"Therefore, to the audience who will come to Jalak Harupat follow the rules from the existing instructions and be polite and polite in attending this match so that the West Java family can set an example for other residents," he said.
