Zac Efron Feels Honored To Be Called Matthew Perry Plays A Biopic
JAKARTA - Zac Efron remembers his co-star, actor Matthew Perry, who died on October 28. Before he died, Perry called Efron the actor he wanted to play his biopic.
When he heard this, Zac Efron was proud and honored to bring the role to life.
"I'm honored to hear him think of me for playing his character. We'll see later. I'm very honored to do it," Zac Efron quoted People as saying.
Zac Efron and Matthew Perry competed acting in the film 17 Again in 2009. Efron remembers Perry as an extraordinary mentor.
"He was a mentor to me and we made a cool film together. I saw it, I learned comedy from him. When we filmed 17 Again, I couldn't believe seeing him there, because I learned a lot from him, throughout my life," said Zac Efron.

In the 17 Again film, Zac Efron plays the young version of Mike O'Donnell, played by Matthew Perry. This film tells the story of Mike, who is 37 years old and regrets his life, getting the opportunity to repeat his teenage years.
In an interview, Matthew Perry admitted that he wanted to make a biopic about his life. When asked who the actor he wanted, Perry replied that Zac Efron had played the younger version because he felt Efron was doing a good job.
Matthew Perry died on October 28 after being found dead at his residence in Los Angeles. He died at the age of 54.
On the other hand, Zac Efron returns to the big screen with the film The Iron LAW with Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson, and Stanley Simons who tells the story of Von Erich's family life.
