Bruce Dickinson Releases Single Opening New Solo Album December 1
JAKARTA - After shaking the world of rock and metal last September with the announcement of the upcoming solo album and Latin American tour date, further details of the album titled The Mandrake Project were revealed.
The first single titled Afterglow Of Ragnarokakan was released December 1, a dramatic and epic song that introduces the world not only to the music of its album but also to the interesting narrative that is the basis of this album.
"It's important to define the direction of the project with this track. As the title implies, it's a heavy song and there's a dashing riff that drives it...but there's also a real melody in the refrain section that features the light and shadows performed by the rest of the album... and just wait until you see the video!" Bruce explained.
The Mandate Project is a dark adult story about power, harassment, and the struggle for identity, with a scientific genius and occultation background.
Dickinson wrote Tony Lee and illustrated stunningly by Staz Johnson for Z2 Comics, The Mandrake Project will also be present in 12 episodes collected into three graphic novels and will launch next year.
The eight-page comic prequel for The Mandrake Project, titled Afterglow Of Ragnarok, is included in the single seven-inch blacklist bucket that accompanies the single of the same name and organizes scenes for the upcoming story.
