Kominfo Opens Collaboration Opportunities To Promote Narratives For The 2024 Peaceful Election

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology opens wide opportunities for collaboration with the media, in amplifying or expanding the narrative of the 2024 Peaceful Election.

Dalam acara Mata Lokal Memilih: Berhitung pada Negara mewujudkan Kolaborasi Presisi untuk Terciptanya Pemilu Damai 2024 Bermartabat Tanpa Hoaks, Menkominfo Budi Arie Setiadi mengatakan bahwa kolaborasi ini dapat menjaga ruang digital tetap aman.

"We are very open to collaboration opportunities with the media, such as the broadcast of public service advertisements, news, dialogue, or special programs, news highlights, to podcasts," Budi said as quoted from his official broadcast on Monday, November 6.

Budi also said that the cooperation can be carried out with various types of media, including television, online, radio, and digital platforms.

In order to promote the 2024 Peaceful Election, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics has disseminated information in three periods, namely the Pre-Employment Period, during the General Election, and Post-Employment.

Information dissemination during the Pre-Employment period focused on anti-golput invitations and participating in elections to encourage the entire community to exercise their voting rights.

"Meanwhile, the message during the election focuses on the invitation to jointly maintain a conducive situation until the voting process and vote count is complete," he added further.

Finally, the message in the post-election period will focus on the invitation to maintain national unity in responding to the election results.

Minister Budi Arie alluded that several digital platforms have spread the narrative of the 2024 Peaceful Election through hashtags. Such as Meta with #bijakbernoise and Google with the hashtag #yukjanipemilu.
