Sued For 15 Years, Ex-Director Of Moratelindo Will Read Pledoi Today
JAKARTA - Former President Director of PT Mora Telematika Indonesia (Moratelindo) Galumbang Menak Simanjuntak will read out a memorandum of defense or pledoi after the public prosecutor (JPU) charged him with imprisonment for 15 cases in the alleged corruption case of the 4G BTS project and supporting infrastructure packages 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 BAKTI Kominfo.
Galumbang will read out his pledoi at the follow-up trial which will be held Monday, November 6.
"Today's trial plan is at 10.00 WIB," said Galumbang Menak's lawyer, Maqdir Ismail when confirmed, Monday, November 6.
Not only Galumbang Menak, referring to the Case Investigation Information System (SIPP) of the Central Jakarta District Court, the other two defendants will also read the pledoi. They are Irwan Hermawan and Mukti Ali.
Meanwhile, Galumbang Menak was charged with 15 years in prison. Not only criminal, but the prosecutor also demanded that the defendant Galumbang pay a fine of Rp. 1 billion.
If you do not have the ability to fine, you can be replaced with one year in prison.
The claim is because Galumbang is considered to have violated Article 2 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 18 of the Anti-Corruption Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code and Article 3 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning Prevention and Eradication of Money Laundering in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
Meanwhile, Irwan Hermawan and Mukti Ali were each charged with imprisonment for 6 years.

The defendant Irwan Hermawan is considered to have violated Article 2 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 18 of the Anti-Corruption Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code and Article 3 of Law Number 8 of 2010 concerning Prevention and Eradication of Money Laundering in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code.
Not only criminal, but the defendant Irwan Hermawam was also required to pay a fine of Rp. 250 million, subsidiary to 3 months in prison. In addition, the defendant was required to pay compensation of Rp. 7 billion, subsidiary to 3 years in prison.
Meanwhile, Mukti Ali is considered to have violated Article 2 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 18 of the Anti-Corruption Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code. Thus, he was also required to pay a fine of Rp. 500 million, subsidiary to six months in prison.
