Secretary General Of Gerindra Gathering With Gibran And Habaib In Surakarta

JAKARTA - Secretary-General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani kept in touch with the Mayor of Surakarta as well as the prospective vice presidential candidate for the Advanced Indonesia Coalition Gibran Rakabuming Raka along with Habib Ali Kwitang and Habib Jindan in Surakarta City, Central Java.

Muzani said he was happy to meet Gibran and habaib. He admitted that the friendship occurred without a plan because it was spontaneous after the congregational Friday prayers at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque, Surakarta City, Central Java, Friday.

"I am very grateful because this blessed Friday is a good day and we were able to stay in touch with Mas Gibran with Habaib who is very loved by the community and the people, namely Habib Jindan and Habib Ali Kwitang," said Muzani, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, November 3.

According to Muzani, the friendship did not talk about political matters.

The topic of discussion discussed, he said, is about religious and national values to realize the Indonesiabaldatun thayyibatun wa rabbun ghafur (a blessed country).

"Earlier,Habaib advised all of us to always maintain unity and integrity. Maintain ukhuwah Islamiyah among leaders and their people, because it is an important value to be implemented in the nation and state," explained Muzani.

Muzani's presence in Surakarta City was to attend Habib Ali Solo's haul on Saturday (4/11). He admitted that he had always tried to be present at the haul several years ago to strengthen the friendship.

"I, as the leader of the MPR and the leadership of the Gerindra Party, have always taken the time to attend Haul Habib Ali Solo several years ago. This is an important gathering event between leaders, religious leaders, and the community," said Mu.
