Krisna P - Cinta P Underwater Pipe Replacement Project Completed, PHE OSES Successfully Returns Production

JAKARTA - In maintaining the Operational Excellence commitment, PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore South East Sumatra (PHE OSES) has and continues to complete various programs related to improving aspects of operational facility integrity. One of them is by completing the 30km oil main oil pipe (main oil line) construction project.

The success of replacing this pipe contributed to the daily average oil production from the Central Area as much as 6,100 barrels of oil per day (BOPD), thus increasing the accumulation of PHE OSES production by 20,500 barrels of oil per day (BOPD).

The process of installing an underwater pipe which began in early August 2023 was successfully completed through a safe and timely connection process. Until September 30, 2023, as many as 48 oil wells in the Central Business Unit (CBU), which initially did not produce temporarily when the pipe replacement project took place, are now gradually reproducing. The pipeline coupling work is carried out by fulfilling the safety aspects of work and the environment.

This production has technically and operationally contributed to improving the economic aspect of the WK OSES Field which is quite large and has a significant impact on the continuity of stable oil production as well as the positive impact on the national oil and gas industry.

General Manager of PHE OSES, Antonius Dwi Arinto, said that the completion of this project is a very important step in efforts to increase production.

"This project is a form of commitment to safe and safe operational reliability and has a positive impact on companies and social communities in the environment around the OSES PHE operating area," said Antonius, in his statement, Wednesday, November 1.

Wisnu Hindadari, Director of PHE OSES, appreciated solid work collaboration in completing pipeline replacement so that OSES PHE production can be optimized again.

"We would like to thank all parties involved, including SKK Migas and relevant government stakeholders, as well as the community around the operating area, for their synergy and contribution to this project so that in the future there will be opportunities for further Field Development that will contribute positively to the country," concluded Wisnu.
