Feeling Perpetrated By Being Hit By An Emission Test Ticket, Drivers Are Upset: This Will Be Noisy With My Wife
JAKARTA - Amri is upset, a motorcycle rider was caught in an emission test raid on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Pulogadung, East Jakarta.
When dismissed, Amri's motorbike was checked for emissions. As a result, the vehicle did not pass the emission test. Amri did not accept it and asked for a re-emission test four times.
The fourth time the test has not changed the exhaust gas of Amri vehicles to pass the emission test. Amri also had time to argue with the officers because he did not accept being ticketed.
Amri admitted that he did not have the money to pay the ticket to be able to redeem his automatic motorcycle registration certificate which was detained by officers.
"This is a wrongdoing, sir. I was wronged. I just bought rice, I couldn't. I would have made a fuss with my wife if I knew (ditilang)," said Amri at the location, Wednesday, November 1.
Amri emphasized that he did not know that the vehicle did not pass the emission test and was subject to a ticket, even though the emission test ticket was held last September.
So, Amri has no worries about driving to Bekasi from Gunung Sahari today because the vehicle documents are complete.
"I mean, socialization first. For the first time (the emission test raid was caught), yes, just forgive it but given a warning. But this was immediately signed, as if I had a wrong motorbike completeness letter," he said.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government and Polda Metro Jaya have again held raids and ticketing vehicles that did not pass the test at a number of points in Jakarta today. The emission test ticket will take effect until the end of 2023.
Initially, the emission test ticket had been running since September 1, 2023. However, the implementation was only carried out in the first week and the Metro Police decided to stop it.
At that time, the emission test ticket was temporarily suspended to provide opportunities for the public to undergo emission tests in order to control air pollution in Jakarta.
Now, the DKI Provincial Government has recorded more and more emission tests. Thus, the emission test ticket has been effectively carried out again.
