Lampung Police Destroys Drugs Worth IDR 200 Billion Including Confiscation From Fredy Pratama
BANDAR LAMPUNG - Lampung Regional Police (Polda) destroyed narcotics evidence as a result of the disclosure of cases for the period May-October 2023 in the form of marijuana, methamphetamine, ecstasy pills and synthetic tobacco with a total value of more than Rp. 200 billion.
"For evidence of marijuana-type narcotics destroyed weighing 54.4 kilograms, 129.7 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine, 18.989 ecstasy pills, 24.35 grams of synthesis plants," said Lampung Police Chief Inspector General Helmy Santika, at the Lampung Police Headquarters, reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, October 25.
The Kapolda said the destroyed narcotics evidence included the results of disclosures and confiscations from Fredy Pratama's international network.
"During the last six months, six cases have been successfully uncovered with prominent cases, namely the Fredy Pratama network case," he said.
According to Inspector General Helmy, of the amount of narcotics evidence destroyed, it is estimated that it can save approximately 592,529 people. "The total number of suspects who were arrested from the disclosure of the narcotics case was 52 suspects," he said.

Helmy also said that the destruction of narcotics evidence had been approved by the Bandarlampung District Attorney, South Lampung District Attorney and Pesawaran District Attorney.
"This narcotic evidence was destroyed by putting it in a barrel and being given fuel oil, then burning it and the ashes will be thrown into the final disposal site (TPA)," he said.
