Almost Flying To Singapore, Smuggling Of Lobster Seeds Worth IDR 11.8 Billion Was Thwarted By Officers
TANGERANG - Police failed the smuggling of lobster seeds worth Rp. 11.8 billion to Singapore. Deputy Chief of Police of Soetta Airport AKBP Raden Muhammad Jauhari said there were two perpetrators with the initials VGS (20) and MF (50) who were secured at Terminal 2 of Soekarno-Hatta Airport on Sunday, October 8.
The evidence that was secured by the police was two suitcases containing 35 packs of lobster seed plastic bags (sand types) totaling 107,800 heads.
Jauhari said that the two suspects served as couriers who were given wages and accommodation if they succeeded in smuggling the lobster seeds into Singapore.
"These two perpetrators are the mode of couriers where they were ordered to carry suitcases and were given a prize of 10 million rupiah. Tickets (airplanes) were prepared and accommodation was prepared in Singapore," Jauhari told reporters, Monday, October 9.

He also emphasized that he would continue to pursue the main perpetrators and the lobster seed smuggling network. The reason is, one of the perpetrators has managed to smuggle lobster seeds into Singapore twice.
"1 suspect has been dispatched 3 times, of which two have escaped. The other one is the first time. And both (suspects) do not know each other. So both were recruited by the main perpetrators," he said.
