Concregating 3 Names, PPP Is Still Optimistic That Sandiaga Will Become Ganjar's Vice President Candidate
JAKARTA - Secretary General (Secretary General) of the United Development Party (PPP) DPP Arwani Thomafi emphasized that PPP is still optimistic that PPP National Bappilu Chairman Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno will be elected as a vice presidential candidate from Ganjar Pranowo in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
PPP through the Acting Ketum Muhamad Mardiono, said Arwani, continues to fight for Sandiaga to be Ganjar's companion.
"Yes, we are optimistic that we will continue to fight for Mas Sandi to become Mas Ganjar's vice presidential candidate," said Arwani Thursday, October 5.
The name Sandiaga, said Arwani, always appeared and was discussed at the Ganjar Pranowo (TPN-GP) Winning National Team meeting with the leaders of coalition parties to become vice presidential candidates for Ganjar Pranowo. However, the names of Ganjar's candidates have begun to be narrowed to 3 names.
"From several names, the names that continue from many names then block out five and three or whatever, there is always Mas Sandi's name," said Arwani.
Furthermore, Arwani said that his party would be willing if Sandiaga later was not elected as a candidate to accompany Ganjar. According to him, PPP has collaborated with Ganjar in Central Java when pairing his cadre Taj Yasin or Gus Yasin as deputy governor of Ganjar.

Previously, PDIP DPP Chairman Said Abdullah emphasized that there was no'reducing' term for Ganjar Pranowo's vice presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election. According to Said, the opportunities for the figures mentioned so far are still the same, such as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD, East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa and National Bappilu Chairman of PPP Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno.
