Gboard Replaces Keyboard Height Set Options With Resize Features

JAKARTA - Gboard, a keyboard application developed by Google, has introduced the Resize feature since a few months ago. This feature is considered easier to adjust the keyboard display.

Along with the advent of this feature, Google has finally removed the old options from the change of size, namely Keyboard Height. This option has been removed from the Settings section and comes into effect on the 13.4.08 version of the Gboard beta update.

Previously, users could choose the right keyboard view size by opening Settings in the Gboard application and selecting Prefrence. At that time Google was still presenting seven interesting options.

These seven options are an upgrade to an extra short, short, medium-short, normal, medium-high, high, and extra high. Now, when Gboard users open the Prefrence, they only find One-hand Mode in the Layout settings.

Google may feel that the Resize feature is getting better at setting the size because users can set it at will. This feature is also different from the Keyboard Height which provides fixed and limited choices.

Quoted from 9to5google, the Resize option can be found on the Gboard shortcut page. Users can change thekeyboard size to their heart by dragging two towing tabs at the top and bottom.

In addition to changing the keyboard size, users can also place higher buttons to provide gaps to the system's homebar and spatial and bar.
