DEPOK - A child had the heart to stab his own biological father. The incident occurred in Tipar Village, RT 05 RW 06, Mekarsari Village, Cimanggis District, Depok at around 10.30 WIB, last Tuesday. The victim is Saiman (64) and the perpetrator is Rifqi (27).

Cimanggis Police Chief Kompol Arief Budgarso said the trigger for the stabbing was due to family problems. Initially, the two parties were chatting about family matters.

The trigger for the debate was regarding the family's assets because the victim wanted to sell a number of assets, but the perpetrators did not know.

"The point is family property problems. So there are some family assets that his father wants to sell without confirmation with his son. His son asked why they should be sold. That's where the debate arose," he said.

The perpetrator stabbed the victim with a kitchen knife at the location. The stabbing was spontaneously carried out during a debate.

"The weapon used is a kitchen knife. Spontaneity is at that location. It is not provided first," he said.

The victim's neighbor, Suyut, admitted that he did not know the cause of the stabbing. When he left the house, there were already many residents and the victim was covered in blood. "He said he was stabbed, there were four stabs. The one his father stabbed," he said.

Residents immediately helped the victim who was covered in blood. Then the perpetrator was secured by residents. "The child was still there. Then the residents took him," he said.

"Currently the victim is still being treated at the hospital. The perpetrator was detained at the Cimanggis Police. "At the (victim) hospital," he said.

"Currently the perpetrator has been arrested. The evidence has also been secured. The article suspected of 351 paragraph (3), the law is approximately 5 years," he concluded.
