Apple Explains Why Titanium Frame and USB-C Are Not the Cause of iPhone 15 Overheating
JAKARTA - Apple's new device, namely the iPhone 15, was just launched a few days ago. However, many users complain that their cellphones heat up more quickly.
Responding to the problems reported by these users, Apple finally admitted that what happened to the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro devices became very hot over the past week.
The company told Forbes that background activity, iOS 17 bugs, and third-party apps are what cause the overheating issue.
Some of the applications Apple is referring to include Uber, Instagram, and Asphalt 9. However, Meta itself has released improvements for Instagram, so you should check whether you have the latest version of Instagram.
"We are working with the developers of this application to make improvements that are in the process of being rolled out," he said.

However, one thing that Apple has confirmed is not the cause of this problem is the titanium frame. Because Apple told MacRumors that the design actually provides better heat dissipation than previous models.
Lastly, the company also insists the issue has nothing to do with the high-power charger, as the iPhone 15 is fully USB-C compatible and has built-in protection to prevent damage from overheating.
