Kaesang Asks PSI Cadres To Be Political With Joy

JAKARTA - Chairman of the DPP Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep asked cadres of this party to participate in the community introducing themselves and politics happily.

This was conveyed in the Consolidation of the PSI Bali Election Winning Body (Bappilu), in Badung Regency, Saturday, September 30.

"We have to go directly to the community. Go directly to introduce ourselves and thank God many now accept PSI friends when socializing in the community and I think it should continue and I must remind politics with joy," he said, quoted from Antara.

The youngest son of President Jokowi, who has not yet led PSI for a week, requested that no one in his party likes to denounce political opponents because according to him it is an old style that must be abandoned.

"Back again, you have to be humble, you don't have to be too arrogant even though we are famous now. This one week it's about who. Everything about PSI," he said, followed by applause from PSI Bali DPW members.

With a strategy to go down and have good politics, Kaesang Pangarep believes that the party's famous party as a youth party will win by setting a target of 4 percent of the parliamentary threshold.

"Anyway, we believe that in 2024 we will win and we will have factions in the DPR RI. We are grateful for at least the deputy chairman of the DPR RI," he said with a laugh.

"Keep the spirit of looking at the 2024 election later, spread a smile to the community, don't denounce others. Anyway, if someone criticizes us, they are just patient, they are jealous of us," he continued.

Hearing the direction from the younger brother of the Mayor of Surakarta, Central Java, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, the chairman of the Bali PSI DPW I Nengah Yasa Adi Susanto took quick steps to ask cadres in Bali and districts/cities to immediately introduce themselves to their respective constituencies.

"The legislators of the DPR RI and DPRD from now on, don't hesitate to make billboards come down to all people, if our political opponents have been posting socialization banners for a long time or even long time because the most effective way to win is to this day through billboards," he said.

Adi reminded regional cadres not to expect council seats to be occupied if there is no effort to achieve them, especially if there are legislators who do not even have a business card to be introduced to the public.
