South Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office Continues Legal Process Of Alleged PKPU Mafia Into Investigation
The South Sulawesi High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) investigative team has upgraded the status of the alleged mafia practice case for Postponing Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) involving CV Surya Mas with PT Pembangunan Perumahan (PP) Persero from investigation to investigation.
"It has gone up to investigation. Several witnesses were examined in a marathon," said Head of the Legal Information Section of the South Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office, Soetarmi in Makassar, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, September 29.
For this stage of the investigation, the Special Crime Investigation Team (Pidsus) of the South Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office has examined a number of witnesses in a marathon, both from CV Surya Mas and from PT PP Persero to ensure a bright spot in the alleged PKPU case mafia practice case.
"There were dozens of witnesses examined, including lawyers from CV Surya Mas, we also examined them," said Soetarmi emphasizing.
Previously, the alleged PKPU mafia practice case was revealed between CV Surya Mas and PT PP Persero during a trial at the Makassar Commercial District Court, starting with a public report entering the South Sulawesi Prosecutor's Office on September 6, 2023 regarding the alleged game of resolving the PKPU case.

Furthermore, based on the report, the Head of the South Sulawesi Attorney General's Office, Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak, issued an Investigation Order Number Print 833/P.4/Fd.1/09/2023 dated September 6, 2023 to investigate the alleged case.
In the investigation process, the investigative team continued to investigate the case and tried to find an incident suspected of being a criminal act related to the alleged involvement of the PKPU case mafia.
The allegation is by making an evil consensus that could affect the delay in the obligation to pay debts that are currently being processed at the Commercial Court at the Makassar District Court, which is suspected to have the potential to harm the state's finances and the country's economy.
