Corruption Cases At The Ministry Of Manpower Continue To Be Investigated, It's The Turn Of PKB DPR Members Called By KPK
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned a number of witnesses related to allegations of corruption in the procurement of the Indonesian labor protection system (TKI) at the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker). One of them, Member of the DPR from the National Awakening Party (PKB) Luqman Hakim.
Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said Luqman was summoned today, Wednesday, September 27. He will be examined along with two other witnesses, namely Rinto Sugita and Irwan Arifiyanto who are civil servants (PNS).
"The investigation was carried out at the Corruption Eradication Commission Office, Jalan Kuningan Persada," Ali told reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, September 27.
The material for the examination has not been detailed. However, investigators suspect that the three of them know the alleged corruption that occurred in 2012.
Previously reported, the KPK has named three suspects in the corruption case in the procurement of this system. Although not yet mentioned, information circulated that the three were the Secretary of the Planning and Development Agency of the Ministry of Manpower I Nyoman Darmanta, the former Director General of the Ministry of Manpower who is now the Chairman of the Bali PKB DPW Reyna Usman, and a private sector.
In investigating this case, several witnesses have been examined. One of them is the former Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin who served for the 2009-2014 period on Thursday, September 7.
