Later The IPhone 16 Pro Is Expected To Have A Tetraprism Zoom Lense Like The IPhone 15 Pro Max
JAKARTA - Analysis of Ming-Chi Kuo, an expert on Apple products, revealed that the two iPhone Pro models to be released next year are expected to be equipped with a 'tetraprism' zoom lens. That's the technology currently exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
This tetraprism optical lens was created to replace the 5x telephoto lens on the iPhone 15 Pro Max and is designed to create a similar effect to a 120mm lens on a full-frame camera.
How the Tetraprism System Works: 120-millimeter is the length of the lens commonly used on the camera, but this lens tends to be long.
Therefore, Apple developed an innovative tetraprism design that is directly integrated into the iPhone. The system reflects light beams four times through the glass structure, allowing light to travel further in smaller designs. This creates a considerable distance between the lens and the sensor to produce a larger focal length.

Last year, the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro had the same camera system, making it a little disappointing that Apple is installing a better zoom lens on this year's iPhone 15 Pro Max.
However, with the iPhone 16 Pro expected to appear next year, we hope Apple will re-equate the camera feature on its iPhone Pro. However, with the now-owning iPhone 15 Pro Max, Apple may still be looking for ways to differentiate Pro from Pro Max. This may give more reason to call Pro Max a "Ultra" phone.
