49,576 Banjarnegara Residents Affected By Drought Receive 1,115,900 Liters Of Clean Water BPBD Assistance
JATENG - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) has so far distributed 1,115,900 liters of clean water for residents affected by drought in Banjarnegara Regency.
"This amount is a recapitulation of the distribution of clean water aid until Thursday (14 September). Today's distribution (15 September) is still ongoing," said Head of the Banjarnegara Regency BPBD Emergency and Logistics Division Andri Sulistyo in Banjarnegara, Friday afternoon, confiscated by Antara.
He said the clean water assistance that had been distributed was intended for 49,576 beneficiaries.
According to him, the areas that have been affected by drought in Banjarnegara are 24 villages and 5 urban villages spread across 11 sub-districts.
"In the distribution of clean water assistance, we deployed 3 tank trucks and one L300 pickup car belonging to BPBD and 1 PMI tank truck," he said.

He invited all stakeholders in Banjarnegara Regency to participate in distributing clean water assistance to residents affected by drought.
In addition, he continued, residents who have received clean water assistance are advised to be wise and frugal in using it to meet their needs until further assistance arrives.
Regarding the ongoing dry season, he appealed to the public not to clear land by burning grass that dried up or throwing cigarette butts carelessly while in the forest.
"All of this needs to be done so that forest and land fires do not occur. Let's be together to save water and prevent fires," said Andri.
