Ericsson Will Provide Experts to Help Develop 5G Applications at Its New Innovation Center

JAKARTA - Ericsson Indonesia has just inaugurated its 5G Innovation Center in the PIDI 4.0 building, as a place for industry to jointly contribute to realizing the government's agenda, namely Making Indonesia 4.0.

Arnes Lukman, Head of the Center for Digital Industry 4.0 (PIDI 4.0) welcomed the presence of Ericsson's 5G Innovation Center. He also hopes that this can be useful for companies in Indonesia to support their digitalization journey.

"We hope that PT Ericsson and other PIDI 4.0 Partners can optimize the use of 5G centers through collaboration with the PIDI 4.0 ecosystem. Together, we can accelerate the transformation of Industry 4.0 in Indonesia," added Arnes in his speech at the inauguration of the 5G Innovation Center on Wednesday, September 13 Yesterday.

Ronni Nurmal, Director of Ericsson Indonesia also revealed that later this innovation center could be used as a gathering place for ecosystems or industries that require 5G applications, a showcase for Ericsson's newest products, and also a place for research, including for students.

Apart from that, Ronni also mentioned that Ericsson will provide expert staff who will be on standby at the location every day, to assist applicators in providing advice or input on their innovations.

"For example, if it still doesn't work, what needs to be repaired, we provide expert staff. There will be one person on standby here continuously. So, for example, if an applicator comes and wants to test whether the application works or not, we try to set the parameters or we give advice, " he explained further.
