Not Receiving Attention, Child Motive In Sukabumi Abuses Father With Machete
Sukabumi Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) revealed a case of abuse committed by his biological child (father) in Badakputih Village, Sukabumi Regency, West Java, which occurred on Sunday. "From the results of an investigation conducted by the Sukabumi Police Satreskrim investigator, the motive for suspect A (28) molesting Abud (65) who was his father because he was upset, he was often asked to work or earn income," said Sukabumi Police Chief AKBP Maruly Parde, quoted by ANTARA, Monday, September 11. According to Maruly, the suspect who was allegedly offended by his father's words was because he was often asked to look for work and not just stay at home and become a family burden, finally A took a machete which was then sent directly to his father's body. The disobedient child's action was carried out at his home in RT 04/09, Palabuhanratu Village/District. Residents who saw the incident tried to help Abud who was helpless due to serious injuries as a result of being mistreated by his own child. Not only that, the suspect also threatened residents who wanted to break up by brandishing machetes. Not long after, personnel from the Palabuhanratu Police and Sukabumi Police Satreskrim arrived at the location and immediately arrested the young unemployed man. "We are still developing this case, but for the main motive, where A did not want to obey orders from his father who asked him to look for work which would then be dark eyes and eventually persecute his father who had raised the suspect," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Palabuhanratu Police, Kompol Mangapul Simangunsong, said that this incident was because the perpetrator did not accept when his father scolded him for not working and just staying at home. For now, the victim is still receiving intensive care at the Palabuhanratu Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Sukabumi Regency, and the suspect has been detained at the Sukabumi Police Headquarters detention center for further investigation.
