Highlight The Importance Of Digital Transactions Through QR Cross Border, DANA Achieves The 2023 ASEAN Business Awards

JAKARTA - DANA, a digital wallet-based technology company in Indonesia, won an award from the 2023 ASEAN Business Awards for the category "Digital Transformation: Best Customer Experience,"

This shows the seriousness of DANA in bringing changes to digital systems in Indonesia. In this award, DANA focuses on implementing the QR Cross Border, and the direct involvement of DANA digital wallets in the success of cross-border transactions.

"We present this award to all parties who always support and entrust FUNDS to continue to innovate and be directly involved in various digital payment initiatives, including the QR Cross Border," said Vince Iswara, CEO & Co-Founder of DANA Indonesia in an official statement received in Jakarta.

In August last year, DANA was trusted by Bank Indonesia as one of the first non-bank payment service providers to participate in the launch of the implementation of cross-border QR code payments through the QR Cross Border feature.

Since then, DANA has been committed to making a user experience-centric approach in implementing the QR Cross Border, contributing to projecting the use of the QR Cross Border in 2023.

DANA projects transactions in Thailand can reach more than 30 thousand transactions and more than 18 thousand transactions for Malaysia by the end of 2023.

According to Vince, apart from being a cross-border payment method in Southeast Asia, the use of QR Cross Border still holds such great potential.

"Hopefully, the expansion of the QR Cross Border will become a priority agenda that continues to be supported by all parts of the digital economy ecosystem, including the financial technology industry such as DANA," concluded Vince.
