2 Students Fall From Motorcycle Trapped In An Optic Cable Stuck In Pekanbaru, Police Check Providers
RIAU - Pekanbaru Police summoned a number of internet provider providers who installed fiber optic cables over Jalan SM Amin on Wednesday 6 September.
Head of the Pekanbaru Police Satreskrim Kompol Bery Juana Putra said this was done after one of the cables hanging on the road caused two students to fall from a motorcycle due to being entangled in the neck.
"We have an agenda for calling 'providers' around the scene," he said in Pekanbaru, Riau, September 6, which was confiscated by Antara.
Bery said a number of witnesses had also been examined in connection with the case. Including the two victims M Lutfi Fitriansyah (16) and his younger brother M Faiz Fitriansyah (14).

In investigating this case, the police have also confiscated two rolled cables and a black box.
This case was investigated based on reports from the parents of the two victims to the Pekanbaru Police. The report is accompanied by a post-mortem of the two victims at the Awal Bros Panam Hospital.
Previously, two students fell from a motorbike while crossing SM Amin Street, Pekanbaru, after being caught in the neck with a cable across the road, Monday, August 28.
As a result, the two students, known to be brothers named Lutfi and Faiz, suffered injuries to the neck due to being caught in a cable.
