Hand Over 10,668 Land Certificates To Riau Islands Residents, Minister Hadi: Please Take Care Of It Right From Disturbing Parties
JAKARTA - Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Hadi Tjahjanto, handed over 10,668 land certificates for residents in Riau Islands Province (Kepri).
The certificate was handed over at the 2023 Summit Agrarian Reform Task Force (GTRA) in Costal Area, Karimun Regency, Riau Islands, Wednesday, August 30.
"This land certificate consists of regional certificates, cultural heritage, state property, and regional property, namely PSU certificates and use rights, to investment areas," said Minister Hadi.
The handover of the certificate was symbolically carried out by Minister Hadi to recipients representing districts/cities throughout the Riau Islands and accompanied by Riau Islands Governor Ansar Ahmad and Karimun Regent Aunur Rafiq.
Minister Hadi said that with the granting of this certificate, the public already has legal legality legally on land rights, so that they can be calmer in living life.
"Please properly protect the certificates that have been owned, from various parties that will interfere," he said.
This certificate, continued Hadi, will on the one hand reduce dispute problems and overlap land ownership which has often occurred in the community.
The former TNI commander also asked all certificate recipients to use the certificates they received properly and correctly.
"If it is collateral to the bank, it must be a trusted bank. Then, it is used for productive purposes, not consumptive interests," he said.

Meanwhile, Riau Islands Governor Ansar Ahmad said the people of Riau Islands, especially those living in coastal areas, should be grateful. Because, the central government's policy through the agrarian reform program, coastal communities can feel the benefits of land certificates.
"With this program, all of you can feel the benefits of free certificates for certainty and legal protection for land/property rights holders," said Ansar.
