Honda Accord Hybrid Enters NKJB, Will It Be Sold In Indonesia?
JAKARTA - Following the wave of changes towards environmentally friendly mobility, Honda introduced a series of hybrid cars in Indonesia, with one of them being the All-New Honda CR-V e: HEV RS.
The Honda CR-V e: HEV RS is equipped with a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder Atkinson Cycle DOHC engine in collaboration with two electric motors, producing power reaching 204 dk and a torque of 335 Nm, supported by a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1.06 kWh.
For its e:HEV system, the All-New CR-V can operate in three different driving modes, namely EV Mode, Hybrid Mode, and Engine Mode, which automatically switch according to road conditions, driving style, engine load, and travel situations.
During the 2023 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM), as a representative of Honda in Indonesia, exhibited various electrification car models. One of the highlights is All New Honda Accord e: HEV.
The latest generation of Honda Accord was first introduced in early 2023 as Honda's global hybrid showcase model. However, his performance at GIIAS seems to have a further goal.
It was reported that the heavy competitor of Toyota Camry will soon be sold in Indonesia. This is evidenced by the appearance of Accord with code CY26 at CVT ZZ Hospital in the DKI Jakarta Province Motor Vehicle Selling Value List (NKJB), at a price of around Rp956 million.
Responding to this news, Yulian Karfili, Communication Strategy Senior Manager of PT HPM, said that his party had not been able to provide detailed information regarding the arrival of the latest Accord to Indonesia.
"We have not been able to provide detailed information about this," said Yulian when interviewed by VOI, Monday, August 28.

This premium sedan is powered by a 2.0 liter Atkinson Cycle engine with a 4-cylinder DOHC, with a total power of 204 dk and a maximum torque of 335 Nm.
