Follow Series-5, BMW X5 Li Facelift Also Has A Long Wheelbase For The Chinese Market
JAKARTA - The BMW Group brings an update to the special Sport Activity Vehicle (SAV) for the Chinese region, namely X5 Li, to adjust the mobility needs of the country.
It is known that the BMW X5 Li was first presented in March 2022 at the Chinese market, and has been presented with a relieved wheelbase. But not yet two years ago, BMW made exceptions to this model instead presenting updates to this car that were tailored to the emergence of the standard X5 and X6 launched earlier this year.
Reporting from Motor1, Friday, August 25, X5 Li has a wheelbase that is 130 mm longer when compared to the global version. With longer dimensions, it provides relief for vehicle users, especially rear passengers.
The back door is also made wider following the size of the wheelbase and exclusively designed chairs for the convenience of long-distance travel.
Updates are also carried out on the BMW iDrive with QuickSelect system which makes it easier for car users and the manufacturer's 8.5 version of the infotainment system with different menu concepts and home screens.
The outside is also refreshed by the stiffer front with some artificial intake placements. Especially for the Chinese market, the steering circle and the door panel are given electronic details. Also presented is a slot for devices with inductive charging.
The BMW X5 Li facelift will be available in two versions. For the base model, X5 xDrive30 Li is powered by a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine that can emit up to 258 dk of power. Even though it is not as powerful as X5, the SAV is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/hour within 7.2 seconds.
However, if customers want more impressive energy, BMW provides the top variant with a 3.0 liter 6-cylinder engine. With the heart of the runway, BMW X5 Li is able to blow up to 380 dk and can run from 0 to 100 km/hour within 5.5 seconds.

This isn't the only BMW car to be presented in a long wheelbase. Recently, BMW brought Series-5 to the Chinese market with an estimated size of about 204 inches longer.
