Neck Steps Make Parents Victims Of Persecution In Jagakarsa Reject Peace

JAKARTA The aftermath of the persecution carried out by F (14) against D (16) in an alley in the Lenteng Agung area, Jagakarsa, South Jakarta, the victim's parents reported to the South Jakarta Metro Police. The family did not accept that their child was abused until he suffered injuries all over his body as a result of being beaten by the perpetrator.

It is known, after carrying out the persecution, F was secured by residents. At that time, the peace process was held by RW 03, Lenteng Agung Village, Sunday afternoon, August 20. However, the victim's family refused to accept peace because the perpetrator was so heinous in carrying out the persecution.

"So the results of today's mediation or deliberation are deadlocks (buntu-ed). Victims or parties who feel aggrieved want to continue this matter to the realm of law," said RW 03 chairman Haswari Anwar to reporters.

The victim's family considered F's actions uncivilized. The alleged perpetrator is said to have deliberately strangled and stepped on the victim's neck. Therefore, D's family did not accept any acts of abuse which were considered very excessive.

"We have forgiven, but the act of persecution went into the realm of law. So we decided to take this case to the police," said the victim's mother during mediation.

After deciding to take the case to court, the victim and the alleged perpetrator immediately rushed to the South Jakarta Metro Police.

The act of persecution that took place in Lenteng Agung, Jagakarsa is known to have started with a love affair. A woman is said to be a fight between the perpetrator and the victim. And the news was confirmed by the Head of RW 03, Lenteng Agung Village, Haswin Anwar.

"According to their confession (the perpetrator and the victim) when I asked, the commotion was caused by romance," Harwin told reporters, Sunday, August 20.
