The August 17 Flag Ceremony At The Presidential Palace In Jakarta Is Supplied With A Modern And Sophisticated Electricity System
PT PLN (Persero) provides advanced, modern, and integrated electricity infrastructure throughout the August 17 Flag Ceremony at the Presidential Palace.
General Manager of PLN Jakarta Distribution Main Unit, Lasiran revealed that the palace electricity is supplied from 4 main substations, in back-up with Uninterruptible Power Supply 8 x 400 kVA, and a 4 x 2,000 kVA capacity generator.
"PLN ensures that the electricity supply for the August 17, 2023 Flag Ceremony in the context of the 78th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia is safe and reliable," he said in a statement to the media, Friday, August 18.
Lasiran detailed that as many as 107 PLN officers were on standby at 24 standby post points spread around the Jakarta Presidential Palace complex to secure the raising ceremony and the lowering of the heirloom flag in the context of the 78th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia which was led directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo. This state event was also attended by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, representatives from 38 provinces of the Republic of Indonesia, state guests, and 16,000 other invitations.
revealed that the ceremony to raise and lower the heirloom flag for the 78th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia was a very important sacred event at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta because the plan would be the last before the capital was transferred to IKN.
"We have prepared reliable, sophisticated, and modern electricity to ensure that the state event which is held once a year runs solemnly," said Lasiran.

The electricity system of the Jakarta Presidential Palace built by PLN is equipped with a layered supply system, including 4 lines with 'green' transformer without oil equipped with an automatic tuning supply system, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) anti-lightning, a generator with the latest technology that is silent, and is controlled centrally at the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) at the Jakarta Presidential Palace Powerhouse.
