Police Arrest Bandar Judi Online Affiliated Togel Taiwan-Hong Kong
KARAWANG - Karawang Police, West Java, arrested an online gambling dealer who turned out to be affiliated with togel in Sydney Australia, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
"The perpetrator with the initials OS (38) was arrested at a gambling practice in Maja Village, Karangsinom Village, Tirtamulya District, Karawang," said Karawang Police Chief AKBP Wirdhanto Hadicaksono as reported by ANTARA, Friday, August 4.
The gambling crime was revealed after officers received information from the public explaining that there was a group of people who were practicing gambling in Maja Village, Karangsinom District.
After receiving the report, the police from the Karawang Police immediately came to the location. It turned out to be true, at that location there was a gambling practice.
Subsequently, one person with the initials OS (38) was arrested, who is a dealer in the online gambling game.
"The perpetrator was arrested on Thursday night, July 27, 2023 at the gambling location," he said.
During the arrest, the police confiscated evidence of a cellphone, nine pieces of notes containing the installation number, two calendar sheets containing the installation number of the online gambling site account, and some cash.
The police chief said, according to the results of the examination, the perpetrator created his own online gambling site under the name togelmandiri.com site.

Meanwhile, to get customers or players, the suspect invited residents in the village to take part in his online lottery, by being given the win first.
From the perpetrator's confession, the turnover he obtained reached around Rp. 5 million per month with an average per day getting Rp. 100-120 thousand.
The perpetrator has been in the illicit business for about a year, with 1,825 installers from their own village
As a result of his actions, the perpetrator is now being held at the Karawang Police Headquarters detention center, which is threatened with Article 303 of the Criminal Code with a threat of nine years in prison.
