Schedule for the Quarter-Finals of the Australian Open 2023: 4 Indonesian Representatives Will Have A Hard Time
JAKARTA – Indonesia only has four representatives in the quarter-finals of the Australian Open 2023 after nine of them fell in the second round. The following is a complete schedule for the Red and White badminton matches in the top eight.
The round of eight duels will take place today, Friday, 4 August 2023 at the Quay Center, Sydney. The series of matches starts at 12.00 local time or 11.00 WIB.
The four Indonesian representatives who remain in the BWF Super 500 event consist of two men's doubles, one mixed doubles and one men's singles.
The surviving men's doubles are Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto and Pramudya Kusuma Wardana/Yeremia Rambitan.
Fajar/Rian, who are the world number one and seeded first in this tournament, will try to extend their journey against Korea's eighth seed, Kang Min Hyuk/Seo Seung Jae.
Meanwhile, Pram/Yere, who in the previous round stopped their compatriots Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin, will be tested by the third seeds from Japan, Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi.
