Gerindra Reveals There Will Be Political Parties Holding Meetings In Bali To Support Prabowo
JAKARTA - Deputy General Chairperson (Kamur) of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman, revealed that his party is waiting for other political parties to impose support for Gerindra Party Chair Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 presidential election.
Habiburokhman did not mention the name of the political party. But what he meant, had just held a meeting in Bali.
"Yesterday there was a party that held a meeting in Bali, yes, most of the information or all of the provincial level administrators conveyed their support to Pak Prabowo. We just have to wait for the time. We pray that it will be rushed," said Habiburokhman at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday July 1, quoted by Antara.
He also mentioned that there are political parties in parliament that have yet to determine the direction of support for close to the Gerindra Party.
"The parliamentary party, which has yet to make a choice, will also immediately make a choice to anchor to Pak Prabowo's coalition," he said.
However, when asked whether the two political parties in question would join the Gerindra Party above were the Golkar Party and PAN, Habiburokhman was reluctant to answer.
"I can't tell you yet, but if you suspect I can't prohibit it," he added.
He only said that there were major political parties who wanted to move closer to the Gerindra Party to form a coalition in the 2024 presidential election.
"Anyway, there are big parties, the information I got too, I heard too, will join us, we ask for prayers," he said.
In addition, the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR said that political parties outside parliament would join the Greater Indonesia Awakening Coalition (KKIR).
"There are also those from outside the parliament so that we strive and hope that this coalition will get bigger and it will be easier for us to carry out these struggle agendas to continue Pak Jokowi's success," he said.
