New ETLE Cameras Are In Mataram, NTB Police Have Issued 398 Electronic Tickets In 14 Days

NTB - The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police (Polda) issued 398 electronic ticketing from CCTV camera monitoring connected through the Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) system.

Head of Public Relations of the NTB Police, Kombes Pol. Arman Asmara Syarifuddin said the electronic ticketing figure was based on the Operation Patuh Rinjani 2023 period which lasted for 14 days from July 10, 2023.

"Furthermore, from the issuance of this electronic ticket, the traffic directorate has sent a ticket to the violators according to the address listed in the vehicle data," he said in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Monday, July 31, as reported by Antara.

Arman explained, after the electronic ticket was submitted, the violators had to attend the trial in court to pay the ticket tax.

"Technically the difference is only the traffic directorate issues a ticket based on the results of monitoring through the ETLE system," he said.

He said the ETLE camera in his area that had just been installed in the Mataram City area was under the control of the Traffic Directorate of the NTB Police.

There are five points where the installation is located, namely at the intersection of four Bank Indonesia offices, the intersection of four Golkar offices, the intersection of four Mataram Mayor's Office, and two CCTV cameras at the Seruni intersection.

In addition to electronic ticketing data, the NTB Police also released non-electronic ticketing data during Operation Patuh Rinjani 2023.

As for the details for the NTB Police, issued 784 non-electronic tickets, 884 Mataram Police, 1,083 West Lombok Police tickets, 360 North Lombok Police tickets, 472 Central Lombok Police tickets, 981 East Lombok Police, 340 West Sumbawa Police tickets, 650 Sumbawa Police tickets, 367 Dompu Police tickets, 403 Bima Police tickets, and 451 Bima City Police. ticket.

"So, the total traffic violation during Operation Patuh Rinjani 2023 in all jurisdictions of the NTB Police reached 6,735 non-electronic tickets and 398 electronic tickets," he said.
