Bank DKI Intensifies Digital Financial Literacy In The Thousand Islands
JAKARTA - The regional development bank (BPD) owned by the DKI Provincial Government, Bank DKI has mobilized digital financial literacy socialization for residents of the Thousand Islands. This is implemented through the People's Festival of Digital Island on Pramuka Island.
President Director of Bank DKI, Fidri Arnaldy said, the Digital Island People's Party is a forum for increasing financial inclusion and literacy, in this case digital banking to the people of the Thousand Islands, especially Pramuka Island.
"We know that the Thousand Islands, especially Pramuka Island, are the centers of national tourism, and Bank DKI takes a role here by preparing the community through digital financial education and literacy," Fidri said in his statement, Wednesday, July 26.
In the Digital Island People's Party activities, the people of Pramuka Island were introduced closer to various digital products and services of Bank DKI, such as JakOne Abank, JakOne Merchant and and most recently, namely JakErte.
In addition, Bank DKI is rearranging with a digitalization approach through the JakOne Abank application, and JakOne Merchant for temporary locations (loksem) for MSME traders.
Chief Executive of Banking Supervision of the Financial Services Authority Dian Ediana Rae hopes that the DKI Provincial Government BPD can play a role as a regional champion. One of them, by organizing literacy activities and financial inclusion.
"I think this activity is a good example for Bank DKI in terms of market penetration, as well as education on digital banking transactions in the Thousand Islands," said Dian.

In line with this, the Regent of the Thousand Islands Administration, Junaedi in his speech expressed his appreciation for the collaboration in the implementation of the DKI Bank Digital Island People's Party event as a form of attention to the people of Pramuka Island, especially in providing access to financial services.
"This is a sign that the Thousand Islands are not left behind, and the community can be helped by learning digital financial transactions, and encouraging increased economic contribution, especially MSME players," said Junaedi.
