Shinta Bachir And Husband Did Not Attend The Initial Divorce Session, Mediation Postponed
JAKARTA - Shinta Bachir's divorce trial with her husband, Indra Kristianto, was held at the East Jakarta Religious Court (PA) today, Tuesday, July 18. This inaugural trial is scheduled for mediation.
However, at the mediation hearing, neither Shinta Bachir nor her husband as principal were present. Therefore, the mediation trial must also be postponed until next week.
"The principals, Shinta and Mas Indra were not present at the trial, so the trial was postponed for the next week," said Sunan Kalijaga as Shinta Bachir's attorney after the trial.
The reason Shinta Bachir was not present at the mediation hearing, said Sunan Kalijaga, was so that the divorce process could be completed more quickly.
"He (Shinta Bachir) wants to finish quickly, so he can move on and live his life," said Shinta Bachir's attorney.
On the other hand, Syarif Hidayatullah Nasution as Indra Kristianto's attorney said that his client was not present at the mediation because he was still in shock after learning that he was being sued for divorce by Shinta Bachir.
"Today Indra can't come, more precisely he won't come, because he's still shocked by the lawsuit filed by Shinta," Nasution said.
