AHY: The Health Law Does Not Answer The Hopes Of Doctors And Health Workers
Chairman of the Democratic Party Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) assessed that the ratification of the Draft Health Law (RUU) could not answer the hopes of doctors and health workers (nakes) in Indonesia.
This is one of the reasons why the Democratic party rejects the ratification of the Health Bill.
"We refuse because there are indeed a number of substances that we think cannot answer the expectations of our doctors and health workers in Indonesia," AHY said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 12.
When this Health Law is passed, it is worried that it will really affect the future of the health sector in Indonesia.
In addition, the rejection of this Democrat wants to at the same time maintain and fight for the value of the "5 percent" of the APBN which is expected to convince the Indonesian health sector that the quality is also getting better.
"There are several other things too, which is clear that we reject the health bill. Because once again there are a number of issues, a number of important elements that cannot answer our expectations," he said.

AHY said that apart from rejecting the Health Bill, Democrats also rejected the Job Creation Law. This is a struggle to voice labor rights or labor in Indonesia, which he thinks has not answered their needs.
"I can say that the Democrats actually want to always be rational, like we reject the Job Creation Law. And it turns out to be true, there are many defects here and there and finally the Constitutional Court says unconstitutional products," he said.
