Carlo Ancelotti Trains The Brazilian National Team, Meeting After The 2024 Copa America

JAKARTA - The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) has confirmed that the coaching chair will become Carlo Ancelotti's attorney after the 2024 Copa America. While waiting for Ancelotti's tenure, Fernando Diniz will handle the Samba Team.

CBF is actually quite excited to catch Ancelotti after Tite withdrew from the team for failing at the 2022 World Cup. At that time Ancelotti was still not interested, because he was still in charge at Real Madrid.

Not stopping trying, CBF continued to approach Ancelotti until the Italian coach finally melted. Ancelotti is said to have agreed to handle Brazil after his contract in Madrid was completed in June 2024.

Even though Ancelotti currently holds a position in Madrid, CBF can accept and allow the coach to focus on enjoying his final season.

Given that Ancelotti is only coming next year, CBF is entrusting a vacant position to Fluminense coach Fernando Diniz for the time being.

Diniz is trusted to handle the temporary team because he is considered to have a coaching style similar to Ancelotti. This is felt to facilitate the transition process later when Ancelotti arrives.

Although he only has the status of a temporary coach, CBF also gives responsibility. He is on target to be able to bring Brazil to win the 2024 Copa America.

"There are many good coaches in Brazil, (Fernando) Diniz is one of them. I began to be interested in his innovative approach when working at Audax," said CBF President Ednaldo Rodrigues as quoted by Football Espana, Wednesday, July 5.

"After that he continued to use the same philosophy in the clubs he trained, without ever changing it. The method is always the same and I really like innovation and application of tactics."

"He is a coach who has the same philosophy as the coach who will handle us after the Copa America, (Carlo) Ancelotti. They have a similar tactical approach," he explained.
