Impact Of The Construction Of Crossing Bridges, DKI Transportation Agency Narrows Puri Agung Street, West Jakarta

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency carried out traffic engineering on Puri Agung Street, Kembangan District, West Jakarta due to the construction of a multipurpose pedestrian bridge (JPM).

"In connection with the construction of the Multipurpose Crossing Bridge on Puri Agung Street, West Jakarta Administrative City, the DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency will carry out engineering in the area which has been going on since July 1, 2023," wrote the Instagram account of the Dishubdkijakarta, quoted on Sunday, July 2.

The location of JPM's work is on Puri Agung Street between Puri Indah Park Mall and Puri Indah Mall, which is on the south side and the north side.

In the first phase of JPM construction, there is work on the construction of foundations and columns with an implementation time of 1-31 July 2023. The dimension of the work area is about 20x4.5 meters. As a result, the lane on Jalan Puri Agung was narrowed.

"During the work, traffic, which was originally 3 lanes, will reduce 1 lane along the work area," he explained.

After that, the construction of bridges and parks will be carried out in the second stage. The DKI Transportation Agency will inform traffic engineering after the first phase of work is completed.

"Road users are advised to avoid these roads and adjust the traffic regulations set, obey traffic signs and follow the instructions of officers in the field," he wrote.
