Bengkulu Cooperation With East Java, Increase Sea Commodity Export Performance
JAKARTA - The Bengkulu Provincial Government has prepared a collaboration with the East Java Provincial Government in improving the export performance of the marine commodity province nicknamed Bumi Raflesia.
"We will meet fishermen and shrimp pond entrepreneurs Bengkulu with the East Java Government and businessmen from East Java to build networks and improve the export performance of Bengkulu marine commodities," said Assistant I of the Bengkulu Provincial Government Khairil Anwar in Bengkulu, quoted from Antara, Thursday, June 29. According to him, entrepreneurs and East Java Provinces who are already very advanced provinces have a qualified capacity in the export performance of regional commodities. Meanwhile, Bengkulu has a maritime natural resource that is so rich, but has not been well explored. Until now, Bengkulu's main export commodities still rely on coal and palm shells. Meanwhile, marine products have not been recorded in the export performance of regional commodities. In fact, Bengkulu has a coastline of 525 kilometers in 6 city districts.
