Employees Who Commit Immorality To Prisoners' Wives Are Still Being Processed At The KPK Inspectorate
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) said that employees who committed immoral acts against the suspect's wife at the detention center were still in progress. The inspectorate is now investigating allegations of discipline.
"It is still in the process of being investigated by the KPK Inspectorate team," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters, Monday, June 26.
Ali said the employee was examined by a disciplinary violation team. "This is different from other ministries or institutions," he said.
"In the KPK there is a violation of the code of ethics and it is also followed up with recommendations for examination of disciplinary violations," Ali continued.
Previously, KPK investigator Novel Baswedan revealed allegations of immorality at the KPK detention center. This made the receipt of illegal levies revealed.
"There is an immoral case against the wife of a KPK detainee," Novel told reporters in a written statement, Friday, June 23.

Novel did not specify the immoral act. However, from the information circulating the employee was named Mustarsidin.
This act allegedly occurred from August to October 2022 and was only revealed in January 2023. Mustarsidin is suspected of harassing the wife of a detainee at the KPK detention center by asking for a photo of a sensitive area.
