PDIP III National Working Meeting Recommendations: The Position Period Of The Village Head Changes To 9 Years For 2 Periods
JAKARTA - The PDI-P (PDIP) asked for a change in the term of office of the village head from six years to nine years. However, the period was reduced from three to two years. This is one of the points in recommendations for the results of the PDIP Rakernas III which was held from Tuesday, June 6 to Thursday, June 8. "PDI-P encourages stability and continuity of village governments by seeking to change the term of office of the Village Head from six years for three terms to nine years for two periods," said the recommendation read by PDIP DPP Chair Puan Maharani at the PDIP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta. PDIP asked for Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages to be changed. "Rakernas III Party encourages villages as a center of progress to realize a strong, dignified Indonesian village," said the chairman of the DPR RI.

Not only that, Puan also read out recommendations on poverty alleviation. The party bearing the bull symbol supports the implementation of INPRES Number 4 of 2022 concerning the Acceleration of the Elimination of Extreme Poverty as an implementation of the 1945 Constitution article 34 paragraph 1. Passing the recommendation, Puan asked all cadres to move to help the government. "Three Party Pillars (namely, red) structural, legislative, and party executives work together and use all party political policies to eliminate extreme poverty as targeted by the Government in 2024."
