Trained By Real Madrid Legend, U-16 Indonesian National Team Player Ji Da-bin Gets An Extraordinary Experience
JAKARTA - The Brazilian legend and Real Madrid, Roberto Carlos, provide training to a number of young Indonesian players, including the U-16 Indonesian national team player, Ji Da-bin.
Ji Da-bin received direct directions from Roberto Carlos for being included in the red team he trained in the Fourfeo Mini Tournament activity at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta, Thursday, June 1.
Ji Da-bin said he got a lot of knowledge from his idol. He also got advice before going to the field.
"Coach Carlos gave a lot of notes because he said on the field he was not the coach, so he played with fun, what Coach Bima had previously instructed him to do, just run it. That's what Coach Carlos said," said Ji Da-bin when met by the media crew after the match.
The young South Korean footballer was very happy to receive direct directions from Roberto Carlos. Especially as a child, he often saw the actions of the former footballer, who was famous for his hard kicks from the small screen.
" Carlos' idol because I used to watch the Brazilian national team (zaman) a long time ago. That's him as a left back, likes to overlap and sometimes shooting from afar. That's what makes me idolize him," said Ji Da-bin.

As a young Indonesian talent, Ji Da-bin admits that he has had extraordinary experience in this activity.
"The experience is extraordinary. I was taught many tactics and tips from the coach. I was given crossing training and how to score goals and how to play attacking," said Ji Da-bin, who is one of the members of the Indonesian squad who won the 2022 AFF U-16 Cup.
"My hope is that the experience here can help me in my football career in the future," he continued.
Meanwhile, in the U16 mini tournament, Ji Da-bin's team sat as caretakers because they were unable to win in two matches, namely a 0-0 draw with Veron's blue team and lost 1-0 to the yellow team coached by Karagounis.
