Man's Body Fell From Ship Found Dragged 4.5 Km From Lost Point In South Sumatra Candle River
SOUTH SUMATRA - Al Fauzan (27), a passenger on a motorboat that fell and disappeared by the current of the Lilin River, South Sumatra (Sumsel), was found. However, the Banyuasin resident was no longer alive.
"The body of the victim, a man named Al Fauzan, a resident of Banyuasin, was found in a search operation the second day this morning at around 07.45 WIB," said Head of the Palembang Basarnas Office Hery Marantika in Palembang, South Sumatra, Wednesday, May 24, confiscated by Antara.
At that time, the victim's body was found floating on the banks of the river after being dragged by a current as far as 4.5 kilometers from the initial location, which was reported missing, fell.
According to him, Fauzan reportedly fell from the jukung ship on his way home, Monday, May 22 at around 22.00 WIB.

The SAR team immediately conducted a sweep along the river using an engine boat assisted by the Aqua Eye submarine along with residents and other SAR potentials.
However, because it was getting dark and the weather was rainy, it was not possible. Therefore, the SAR team in the field decided to continue the river sweeping on the second day until the victim was found.
When found, the victim was wearing a black striped t-shirt and blue jeans.
He said that currently the victim's body had been handed over to the family for further burial.
