The National Police Will Check Coldplay Concert Promoters Tonight, Investigate Ticket Fraud Cases
The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police will ask for information from the Coldplay concert program tonight. The examination was to investigate the rampant fraudulent sales of tickets to the British band's concert.
"This means that the promoter will be clarified and has stated that he will come today, willing to come at 19.00," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Wednesday, May 24.
However, no further details were given regarding the mechanism for the examination later, including how many people would be clarified by the promoter.
It is only stated that the forced process will run tonight. Because, they have stated that they will attend.
"The number is not yet, what is clear is at 7 o'clock. The promoter can be accompanied by one of his colleagues," said Ramadhan.

Previously, Ramadhan had stated that when the investigation was carried out, the investigative team would explore several things. One of them is about the mechanism for selling Coldplay band tickets.
"The official ticket sales procedure is to what extent. Because the official ticket sales service provider has a responsibility in terms of socialization to buyers," said Ramadhan.
Meanwhile, Bareskrim Polri has received a report related to the fraudulent sale of Coldplay concert tickets. The report is registered with the number LP/B/106/V/2023/SPKT/Bareskrim Polri, dated May 19, 2023.
In that report, 60 people became victims from various regions. They lost Rp. 183 million.
