The story of Cinta Pertama, the film produced by Dogma Pictures, which will be released first in the form of comics. This work is a collaboration between director Eugene Panji and comic Mice Cartoon.
Regarding the content in the comics, Eugene Panji said readers don't have to worry about the story being shown to be a spoiler from the film that will air in the future.
The story in this newly released comic tells of a person who can't forget his first love. The characters featured in the comic are also similar to the characters played by Adinda Thomas and Elang El Gibran in the film.
The story is about first love, many fail to move on from first love. Actually, this is part of the ecosystem that we build. Usually, movies stop at tickets, film releases continue to sell tickets, now we want to create a new ecosystem by making comics," said Eugene Panji during a press conference at Central Park, West Jakarta, Saturday, May 20.
Eugene believes that the stories in the comics can represent everyone's feelings. The reason is, from young people to the elderly, everyone has their own stories about their first love.
Meanwhile, Mice as a comedian appreciated the move from his first love production team in promoting films. He saw the possibility of a further collaboration between comics and filmmakers.
This is one of the first experiences for me. Thank you to Eugene, for involving me for the film promo. Maybe this new one seems to be a promo for a collab film with a local comic," said Mice.
